Logs and Lumber

Fraserview is an open-market log purchaser, with an extensive supply network of brokers, logging and forestry companies.  Every log boom is inspected to ensure quality fits the end product, the order file and the customer’s expectations.

Logs are sorted and graded for end product use and sent to the appropriate custom-cut sawmill in the Vancouver area, for breakdown to Fraserview’s specifications.  Timbers are mill-packaged for direct customer shipment and side-cut lumber is sent to one of Fraserview’s manufacturing plants at Gillwood Remanufacturing or locally at Fraserview Cedar to be made into finished products.

Sawmill production is supplemented by supply agreements and spot purchases of reman Western Red Cedar lumber from other BC sawmills.
